• From Auckland take Highway 1 North to Whangarei, 2 hours.
   

• Continue Highway 1 to Kawakawa for 45mins.
   

• At Kawakawa turn left, still on Highway 1, for 14 kms. You will then see the signage:
  
  Highway 10
  Bay of Islands
  Kerikeri
  Doubtless Bay (Coopers Beach
  is on Doubtless Bay)

• Take this right turn onto Highway 10
  and travel for 1 hour 15mins.
   

• Pass the turn-off to Mangonui and
  1km further on you will look out
  over Doubtless Bay (Paradise!).
   

• Beach Lodge is on the beach front
  (on your right hand side) 1km past
  the Coopers Beach sign.
